How It Works
Identify families
Working with Lee County not-for-profits and social service agencies, we identify individuals and families in need, with secured housing and who are in need of our services
Meet with residents
Next, our design team meets with the residents in their homes, and case workers when appropriate, to identify the unique design needs for the space and circumstances.
Plan the design
Once we've gone through every option and choice for the individual and their family, our design team then goes to work planning the design
Co-ordinate & Schedule
After we've compiled a list of all the furnishings we need, we co-ordinate with our participants, movers, mentors and volunteers to establish and confirm a schedule
Design & Install
We gather all the items from our inventory and other items we've sourced using our donated funds. Then our team goes to work to bring the design to life.
Final Reveal
The project is completed and the family has access to a safe and beautiful home, with furnishings they are proud to own, and a fulfilling and positive living space

Design & Install
Full Home Design
There are times a full household of furniture and accessories is needed. We meet with the clients, then provide the design plan, and after sourcing items the Furnish With Care team arrives to install a complete home of furniture, housewares and accessories. For Families with school age children we also contribute toys and school supplies when needed.
Design & Intall
Partial Home Design
Often times our clients will have a partially outfitted living space, getting by with just the basics, or making do with a layout and a few pieces that don’t function well for them, or support their stage of life. And sometimes it is hard to know what to keep, and how to organize the space. Furnish With Care staff will meet with residents and develop a design plan based on their needs and priorities. Then our Furnish With Care staff will source the items and return to install and arrange the space.
